This custom home in Galt sits in a heritage neighbourhood—mature streets, established homes, and a “finished” feel you can’t ignore. So the goal wasn’t just to landscape a new build. It was to make the whole property feel like it belonged there right away.

Out front, the experience starts with a clear, comfortable walk to the door, framed by crisp stonework and layered gardens that soften the house without making it feel busy. Clean grading and turf lines pull everything together, so the home feels anchored instead of “dropped” onto the lot.

In the backyard, it’s all about having a space you’ll actually use from day one—defined patio and walking zones, planting that builds privacy over time, and the kind of structure that makes the yard feel settled and easy to live in.

The other reality on this project: the schedule was tight, and the site was busy. With multiple trades moving through, we had to sequence the work carefully, protect finished edges, and keep things moving without sacrificing the details.
